General Description
Biotin TAT (47-57) is a biotin labeled TAT peptide and a trans activator of transcription. Biotin Tat (47-57) is one of the most widely used peptides in protein transduction domains (PTDs). Its entry into different primary cells is dependent on ATP and temperature, indicating that it participates in endocytosis.
This is a biotinylated HIV derived cell penetrating Tat peptide. This positively charged biotin peptide has been used to study the formation of a colloidal coating on oligonucleotide saturated nanoparticles. Therefore, Tat coated nanoparticles loaded with dense siRNA molecules can effectively penetrate a variety of human embryonic stem cells.
