What is tb 500

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide of the naturally occuring healing protein present in about all human and mammalian cells known as Thymosin Beta 4 (TB4). TB 500 is thought to have beneficial effects on wound healing, injury recovery, flexibility, and inflammation. Research indicated the effects of TB 500 are on blood cell and blood vessel development, cellular differentiation, and cell migration.

What is the dose of tb-500

TB500 comes as a lyophilized (freeze dried)powder that needs to be reconstituted with bacteriostatic sodium chloride 0.9%.

Doses can range from 5 mg to 20 mg per week by SQ or IM injections divided into 2-3 injections per week. It is then lowered after the first 1-2 weeks to a maintenance dose approximately 1/2 of the original weekly dose and administered once a week thereafter.
