Plecanatide is an analog of urinary guanosine protein, a guanylate cyclase-C (GC-C) receptor agonist with oral activity. In T84 cells, the EC50 value is 190 nm. Plecanatide can be used in the study of chronic idiopathic constipation and has anti-inflammatory activity in the mouse colitis model.

It is valid for at least one year if stored at -20 ℃ or lower.
