Atosiban is a cyclic nonapeptide, an oxytocin analog, a competitive antagonist of oxytocin receptors in the uterus, decidua, and fetal membranes. To achieve the purpose of protecting the fetus, it is clinically used for the treatment of premature birth.

Atosiban is a combined receptor antagonist of oxytocin and vasopressin V1A. Its chemical structure is similar to that of the two, and it has a high affinity for receptors and competes for binding to oxytocin and vasopressin V1A receptors. , thereby blocking the action pathway of oxytocin and vasopressin and reducing uterine contractions.

In the Omizzur solid-phase synthesis method, RinkAmide and AMResin are coupled one by one to obtain a linear peptide resin, and then the solid-phase oxidation resin, cleavage and purification are used to obtain atosiban acetate.

It is valid for at least one year if stored at -20 ℃ or lower.
