Solid Phase Synthesis of Peptides
At present, the most effective chemical synthesis method for peptide drugs is solid-phase synthesis, which starts from the carboxyl end of the peptide, connects the first amino acid to the resin, removes the protective group of the amino acid, couples the next amino acid according to the peptide sequence, removes the amino protective group, and then couples again, repeating the process until the amino acid assembly is completed.
